Between Music and Medicine.
I can become lost in TED.com . The incredibley intelligent, articulate and inspring people who share their thoughts and expertise is simple amazing.
Here in this talk, Robert Gupta – a musician and a doctor – describes how he chose between music and medicine.
He describes the ideas of music being able to speak where words can fail. Robert talks about how music has incredible power and is able to rewire damaged or injured brains (and healthy ones), and how music can light up a person and almost stop major symptoms in nasty illnesses.
Music is able to bring people back from their darkest moments. Music can bring hope, bring relief, bring escape, bring life.
Yet another thought provoking talk.
I hope you enjoy it.
Thanks,
Matthew.
